Hey, and welcome to my Tripod
site. My name's Danielle and I'm in the 8th grade.
This
year in grade 8, we had to do an assignment called "Lasting Images".
We had to pick a major event, and write a sort of news article about it. But here's the thing, the subject we chose had to
have a huge impact on the world, but it could have only taken place in one day.
For my assignment, I chose to write about the Tsunami, which affected a lot of people. It hit many countries in south Asia,
such as Sri Lanka, India, Indonesia and Malaysia. For my essay, I decided to write about the Tsunami that hit Phuket, Thailand.
